The NTI Alumni in Hyderabad made a list of migrant workers who were stuck in Hydreabad. Most of them belong to the states of Odisha and Bihar, and have been working in small scale industries. The alumni also conducted surveys of poor families in slum areas of Hyderabad. They were then able to supply these people with ration kits containing rice, dal, oil, soap, detergent, tea powder, sugar, chilli powder, and tamarind.
Beneficiaries Quantity: 40 individuals and families
Beneficiaries Details: Migrant labours, people living in slums
The migrants and slum area families were very happy to receive the ration, and they could not stop thanking us. We assured them that they could contact us directly for more assistance or help during this lockdown.
